1cCognac
3 Bottles of Rhine Wine
1 Bottle of champagne
1cStrawberries; fresh, whole

Place waldmeister in a container with a tight fitting lid with the sugar, cognac and one bottle of Rhine wine. Let stand in a cool place overnight. Transfer to a large punch bowl with a block of ice and pour in chilled Rhine wine and champagne. Garnish with strawberries.
